- Olive Oil
- Bread slices
- Cream cheese (I used Greek yogurt)
- ½ onion – chopped
- 1 garlic clove – chopped
- 1 bunch of Swiss chard – chopped (I kept the stems in)
- Chili pepper flakes (optional—I used Feta cheese as a topping instead)
Heat olive oil and sauté garlic, stems of chard, and onion for about five minutes. Add leaves of chard on top and cover—cook just until wilted. Spread olive oil on bread and toast in oven. Spread cream cheese or Greek yogurt on toast then pile chard mixture on top. Sprinkle with pepper and feta.
